Unlike many other crane consulting companies, we offer onsite, hands on inspections of cranes and equipment, and are experienced with all crane models, including Comedil, Potain, FMGru, FBGru, Favelle, Favco, Soima, Raimondi, Saez, Jarlway, Yongmao, XCMG, Liebherr, amongst others.
Our skill set also includes experience in building structural engineering, giving us an in-depth knowledge required for the integration of the temporary works elements into the design and construction process.
We are able to draw on our network of associates and technical advisors in Europe, Asia and the United States to assist our clients in providing solutions for difficult, complex or unusual projects.
Our commitment to the industry is demonstrated by the training that our staff undergo including technical training with equipment manufacturers and skills training with organisations for high risk work licences in rigging, crane dogging, crane operation, hoist operation, elevated work platform operation, working at heights and working with asbestos to name a few. This training gives us the skills and licences to not only plan but also undertake high risk work if required as part of our role for the client. These skills, training and hands on experience mean that we have a thorough understanding of the tasks that we are supervising and instructing others to perform on complex operations.
With a history of diligent and professional service to the crane engineering industry, we have developed working relationships with the workplace safety authorities in a number of jurisdictions throughout Australia which has assisted our clients in dealing with accidents and incidents in a safe and efficient manner.
With over 25 years industry experience and chartered professional engineer status of our senior staff, O’Hearn Consulting has the technical and practical experience to handle a wide range of complex temporary works projects. We are true specialists in our field.
